Answer: inter colored string truss beams and lime-washed in the same color harmony

Hello Jean-Claude, you want to paint the ceiling with wooden beams in your living room, knowing that your walls are natural stone and terracotta tiled floor.

To brighten the room, I urge you to paint the cross beam white eggshell or light string and make the lime-washed beams. White lead is a decorative technique to bring out the grain of the wood. It involves digging the softer veins then garnish grain of a white or pastel wax that highlights the contrast.

With your ceiling painted in off-white, you will clear your entire room white lead and enhance the charm of your beams allying itself perfectly to your stone walls!
